      کاغذی ہے پیرہن، ہر پیکرِ تصویر کا
      جذبہ بے اختیارِ شوق دیکھا چاہیے
      سینہ شمشیر سے باہر، ہے دم شمشیر کا
      کاو کاوِ سخت جانی ہائے تنہائی نہ پوچھ!
      صبح کرنا شام کا، لانا ہے جوئے شیر کا
