Hamne sab sher mein sanwaare the,
Ham se jitne sukhan tumhaare they,

Rang-o-khushboo ke husssan-o-khoobi ke,
Tum se they jitne istiayare they,

Tere qoal-o-qaraar se pehle,
Apne kuch aor bhi sahaare they,

Jab wo laal-o-gohar hisaab kiye,
Jo tere gham ne dil pe waarey they,

Mere daaman me aa giray saaray,
Jitne tasht-e-falak me taare they,

Umar-e-javed ki duaa karte,
