      تھوڑا دھیان رکھنا جاناں ، اسبار یہ آخری بار ہے

      پڑھتے آئیں ہیں ستاروں کے آگے جہاں اور
      ہاں مگر دستور محبت کے بھی تو امتحاں اور

      سمیٹ تو لیں تمکو اور تمھارے بکھرے گیسو
      تم میں       ہیں شیشے جیسے ، آئینہ توڑنے والے بہت اور

      ضروری نہیں ھم تم تاج محل بنالیں
