My name is Lydia, and I am one of the shor shamans who are various populated around Siberia, their are about 12,000 left of the shorians and now are considered an indigenous group. I was adopted at the age of 5 and now live in the United States.
I have decided to study and try to find information on the shorians, and found the book 'The Last Of the Shor Shamans' by Alexander and Luba Arbachakov. They provided enough information on it from their history to their rituals, so I would like to spend some time just summarizing the information and provide it to anyone who is interested in their culture.
