1: Faisal Masjid
Faisal Masjid is the largest mosque of Pakistan which was completed in 1986 and established in 1987. It is located at the north end of Faisal Avenue The number of worshipers can offer their prayers are 74,000 within the main areas, approx. 200,000 in adjoining grounds. it was designed by Turkish architect Vedat Dalokay, shaped like a desert Bedouin’s tent, is an iconic symbol of Islamabad throughout the world.
2: Badshahi Masjid
Badshahi Mosque is also known as Badhahi Masjid in Urdu and Padshahi Masjid in Persian, its is located at Iqra Park, Lahore, Pakistan. it is the 2nd Largest mosque of Pakistan. It is Capable of accommodating 55,000 worshippers in its main prayer hall and a further 95,000 in its courtyard and porticoes.
3: Grand Jamia Mosque
Grand Jamia Masjid is now 3rd Largest mosque of Pakistan. It can accommodate 25,000 worshipers indoors, while the courtyard and corridor leading to the main halls of worship can accommodate a total of 70,000 (source). The architecture is inspired by Badshahi Masjid, Lahore.
4: Lal Masjid
The Lal Masjid was built in 1965 and is named for its red walls and interiors. It was Siege in 2007 and was re established in 2010. it is located in islamabad Pakistan. More information can be found here
5: Masjid e Tooba
