Indian on-screen actress named Monika a.k.a. Rekha Maruthiraj, South Indian south on-screen character has shifted over to Islam. She acted in more than 70 movies of distinctive Indian languages like Hindi, Malyalam, Telugu and Kannada.
According to her, she began to conform to the precepts of Islam back in 2010.But, she resolved to announce it right away to avoid getting film role offers and to remove doubts in the heads of many people.
She further said,her parents Maruti Raj and Gracy supported her in this decision. She was urged on towards its teachings and this religion has given peace and consolation to her spirit.
She added that this would be the final stage of her working career. I did not convert for the grounds of love or money, I am not such a soul.I like Islamic principles so I changed over to Islam. I will intimate about my marriage to the media once arranged by my parents and I actually thank my daddy for his total musical accompaniment.Hereafter, I will not work in movies.
