Why does love make one miserable and jealous ?

Because once you get something you want,
You start worrying about losing it

Anything that you are really passionate about will give you the "highest highs and the lowest lows." But that beats always being in the middle.

Love doesn't. Need, dependence and fear do.

Love is blind. Love makes one do things he/she never thought he/she would do. When you love something too much, you forget its odds and concentrate on its positive things but when something/person you love is with someone else, no matter whoever he/she might be, you hate it, become miserable and jealous.
